Default Dedifrag and SYchosis team up for LAN

    Dedifrag teams up with SYchosis.

SYchosis and Dedifrag have teamed up in an attempt to bring you an overall much better LAN gaming experience. This is great news for the SYchosis team, since having PlusNet as their main sponsor means we can now cover all avenues.

SYchosis is a LAN gaming organisation set up by a group of dedicated gamers, who have a combined LAN hosting record of 50+ in the last ~7 years.

We have previously relied on our 'old' machines to host the servers at our events, but now we are partnered with Dedifrag, we will be able to provide much better, faster, and more stable servers for our events, and possibly even public servers for our players between events. This will mean we can become more of a gaming community as well as a LAN group thanks to Dedifrag providing the servers for the event, and taking an active role in promotion.

So onto our next event, SYchosis 2. We will be holding it in the main hall of Doncaster Dome, which means we can target around 200 paying gamers. We will be holding a headline Call of Duty 4 tournament (hosted and run by Infused Gaming) with various prizes such as one years free broadband for each member, various goodies from Qpad.se, and a minimum £500 prize fund (maybe more) up for grabs by the winning team.

PlusNet Broadband will be providing the internet connectivity for the event, as well as helping us financially, with promotion and helping with certain prizes for the headline tournament.

We have a '5 for 4' offer for clans/teams wishing to attend the event, we are also in negotiation with local hotels to see if we can offer a room discount to our paying attendees.

Normal prices are £35 per head for the weekend for all tickets booked up to 2 weeks prior to the event, and £45 per person there-after. Spectators are £5 per day, additional network ports may be available with prior request.

We may also have 'rental' machines supplied by Packard Bell, however this is still under discussion

We are also in talks with xLeague.tv about coverage, as well as nVidia, Razer, AMD and others.

If you want any more details, or have already decided you want to attend, then head over to the SYchosis website
