Here is our June update, and probably the last update email you will get from us regarding SYchosis 2. So, here goes...
SYchosis/Dedifrag Cup
The SYchosis / Dedifrag cup has come to an end, with only the final playoff rounds remianing, 8 teams compeating for the grand prize of 5 free tickets to SYchosis 2 and a high performance 16-man game server provided by Dedifrag. Now, onto the LAN its self, Just incase you dont know, or you have forgotten.
SYchosis 2 LAN – 360 Players, 4th to 6th July @ Doncaster Dome
Signups for our 360-seat LAN are filling, however we need to fill the spaces now as time is drawing closer and there are still lots of places remaining. Our “early bird” offer of £35 per person for the whole weekend June 20th thats only 4 DAYS AWAY, so be quick if you want to take advantage of £10 off the regular price of £45 each!
For teams, we still have the '5 for 4' offer available, however this is also subject to the same terms as the standard early bird ticket, it costs £140 for a team of 5 until June 20th, then it is £180
Lots of Prizes
Just to update people on prizes, as many as you will probably know, we have over £3000 of prize money, this will be used for the CoD4 tournament, CS:S Tournament and UT3 1vs1 tournaments. We also have other items to give away, including various free hardware from razer, Speed Link, qpad and alienware, aswell as a years free subscription to PlusNets 'Your Way Pro' gaming broadband as part of our prize winning Call of Duty 4 tournament. We will also be holding various other games and tournaments throughout the weekend including, CS 1.6, UT99/2004, Guitar Hero, RockBand, Trackmania, Warsow and more.

Very-PC
Sheffield based company "Very-PC" are providing 10 machines for tournament 'Turnup and play' use, and also for the finals of the CoD4 and CSS tournaments, this is a chance for them to demonstrate thier new line of highly energy efficient Green Gaming Machines. xLeague.tv
xLeague.tv have confirmed they will be sponsoring the Call of Duty 4 tournament at the event, providing online coverage and televised coverage of the finals on Sky TV channel
We have acquired some great support for this event, including PlusNet, the ISP, who are providing some great prizes, along with Dedifrag, PowerDrive Computers (Distributors of Razer and Speed Link gaming hardware), Alienware and QPAD. Coverage for the LAN is also well planned with Cadred.org and X-League.tv making full advantage of the many competitions that will be run throughout the LAN.Finally, Very-PC.co.uk will be providing 10 tournament rental PCs for use with the tournaments, so we can therefore confirm that we will be allowing clans to come and “turn up and play” if they are unable to bring their own PC for the tournaments. This service however will only be available for use with tournament matches will need to be advanced booked as to allow us to schedule efficiently.
